This team sweeps and sculls\, focusing on technique and conditioning. Rowers are responsible for accurately updating their availability on iCrew and to take turns rotating as coxswain. Practice may be held on land as conditions require. Please check weather forecasts before practice and come dressed appropriately for conditions. \nNote: previous rowing experience required. These are all separate teams\, select your day(s) a la carte. All Intermediate registrations require a quarterly ($50) or annual ($180) KCRC membership and a US Rowing Membership ($20 renew/ $25 new).\n\n\n\n

Bundle up and grab your pogies- we’ll see you dark and early! \nQ4B 11/26-12/22 (4 weeks) \nSunday Experienced Team 8-10am \nTuesday/Thursday Experienced Team 6-8am \nLand training starts 11/27! \n \nPunch Card drop in classes \nYou do not need experience to participate in land training\, though strength and erg focus will be on conditioning ‘the rower’. You do need the Q4 Adult Membership ($50) + punch card (virtual)\, available on iCrew. Punch cards available in 5 punches ($75) or 10 punches ($135\, includes 1 free class). Both eligible for financial aid; Punch cards expire this year. \nJust “Drop In” to the classes you want to take\, and your coach will update your virtual punch card. The Kenmore Public Boathouse is not heated\, so come in layers you can adjust. Onsite filtered drinking fountain and public restrooms. \nNovember 27-Dec 22 (2024 classes TBD) \nMonday evenings 6:15-7:15 CrewLift w/Corée \nWednesday mornings 6:30-7:30am ErgFit w/Laura \nFriday mornings 7-8am ErgFit w/Laura; 8:15-9:15 CrewLift w/Corée \nCrewLift- Strength class\, primarily focusing on body weight and hand weight exercises\, core strengthening\, and maybe some short erg work. \nErgFit- Ergging (rowing machine) class\, primarily focusing on conditioning but will also spend some time on technique and form\, especially for beginners.
