KCRC offers a range of adult programming from Learn-to-Row classes, to skill-building and recreational participation, to competitive rowing!
Our intermediate and experienced teams practice year round and have the opportunity to participate at local regattas. We are currently accepting anyone with prior rowing or coxing training experience into our programs at any time.

Masters Team Practice Schedule – Fall 2025 / Winter 2026
- Tuesday / Thursday: 5:30 – 7:30 am
- Focus: Mixed lineups with an emphasis on technical development and boat skills. Athletes will rotate between different combinations to build versatility, teamwork, and overall rowing proficiency.
- Monday / Wednesday / Friday: 6:00 – 8:00 am
- Focus: Separated lineups where rowers will be grouped based on skill level, speed, and their training goals. This is to ensure that each athlete is challenged appropriately and supported in their development.
- Sunday: 8:00 – 10:00 am
- Focus: Separated lineups where rowers will be grouped based on skill level, speed, and their training goals. This is to ensure that each athlete is challenged appropriately and supported in their development.

- Learn-to-Row
Looking for a full body workout? Want to learn a new skill? Or a fun on-the-water activity with friends? Discover our Learn-to-Row programming here!- Learn-to-Row programs run monthly! A new session will be available at the beginning of each month, beginning in the spring and running through the fall.
- Masters Team
KCRC’s Masters Team is for adults who have completed a Learn-to-Row program or have previous rowing experience. This team welcomes rowers who want to refine their skills and technique, build fitness and endurance, or enjoy a more laid-back, slower-paced practice. Whether you’re preparing to join a more competitive group or simply rowing for fun and fitness, the Masters Team offers supportive coaching and flexible training to match your goals.
ErgFit Sessions – FALL 2025
Start date Monday 10/20/25!
If you’re looking to build your strength and stamina in a fun way, then ErgFit will be a great addition to your weekly workout routine. Or if you’re not able to make your normal rowing session in the AM, drop into an ErgFit class on iCrew!
Mon / Wed / Thurs : 7 – 8 PM
KCRC Adult Rowing Membership Members may drop into any ErgFit class free! Non-Members will be able to purchase the Fitness Punch Card ($25) located in the iCrew Club store. Once purchased, you can drop into any ErgFit or similar session.
Coxswain Clinics
An efficient coxswain can be the difference between a good practice and a great practice! We’ll go over the primary responsibilities of a coxswain including safety for the rowers/equipment, proper calls (when picking up, carrying, and placing boat into water), mechanisms of steering, and CONFIDENCE! Everyone will one day be a coxswain at practice so this clinic is highly recommended before you get put into the coxswain seat. These clinics are FREE and are open to all as it benefits everyone, so please attend one of the options. These clinics will be conducted on Zoom or Google Teams and the meeting link will be emailed to participants the day of.
