KCRC offers a range of adult programming from Learn-to-Row classes, to skill-building and recreational participation, to competitive rowing!
Our intermediate and experienced teams practice year round and have the opportunity to participate at local regattas. We are currently accepting anyone with prior rowing or coxing training experience into our programs at any time.

Programs
- Learn-to-Row
Looking for a full body workout? Want to learn a new skill? Or a fun on-the-water activity with friends? Discover our Learn-to-Row programming here!- Learn-to-Row programs run monthly! A new session will be available at the beginning of each month, beginning in the spring and running through the fall.
- Intermediate
For those wishing to build their rowing skills prior to joining the experienced group or simply desire a more laid back, slower paced practice. LTR or previous rowing experience required.- Tuesdays – 6 AM to 8 AM
- Thursdays – 6 AM to 8 AM

- Experienced
Previous rowing experience is required. Intended for experienced rowers who want to take their rowing skills and technique to the next level, while improving their fitness and endurance.- Monday – 6 AM to 8 AM
- Wednesday – 6 AM to 8 AM
- Friday – 6 AM to 8 AM
- Sunday – 8 AM – 10 AM

ErgFit Sessions
ErgFit March classes are currently M/W from 7-8pm. ErgFit will be a combination of erging, weights, and cross-training. If you’re looking to build your strength and stamina in a fun way, then ErgFit will be a great addition to your weekly workout routine. Or if you’re not able to make your normal rowing session in the AM, drop into an ErgFit class!
KCRC Adult Rowing Membership Members may drop into any ErgFit class free! Non-Members will be able to purchase the Fitness Punch Card ($25) located in the iCrew Club store. Once purchased, you can drop into any ErgFit or similar session.
We are looking to expand our classes throughout more days of the week, TBD!
Coxswain Clinics
An efficient coxswain can be the difference between a good practice and a great practice! We’ll go over the primary responsibilities of a coxswain including safety for the rowers/equipment, proper calls (when picking up, carrying, and placing boat into water), mechanisms of steering, and CONFIDENCE! Everyone will one day be a coxswain at practice so this clinic is highly recommended before you get put into the coxswain seat. These clinics are FREE and are open to all as it benefits everyone, so please attend one of the options. These clinics will be conducted on Zoom or Google Teams and the meeting link will be emailed to participants the day of.
