KCRC is built on community. As a growing rowing club, we rely on the energy, ideas, and involvement of our members to help shape the future of the organization and strengthen our presence, both on and off the water.
We ask members to contribute about 10 hours each year (less than one hour per month) to support the club. Whether you have a specific skill set or just want to stay engaged, there are many ways to get involved.
We’re always looking for members who are interested in supporting areas such as:
Fundraising & Development
Help support scholarships, equipment, and long-term growth through events, outreach, and creative fundraising efforts.
Safety and Procedures
Contribute to maintaining a safe, well-organized environment by helping to refine protocols, support training efforts, or assist with equipment and readiness.
Social and Community Engagement
Help build a welcoming, connected club culture by organizing informal gatherings, supporting new member integration, and creating opportunities for members to connect.
Community Outreach and Representation
Represent KCRC at local events, open houses, and community gatherings—helping introduce more people to rowing and strengthening our partnerships in Kenmore and the greater community.
Whether you’re looking to take on a regular role or just help from time to time, your involvement makes a meaningful impact! If you’re interested, let us know how you’d like to participate—or join our “as-needed” volunteer list and we’ll reach out when opportunities arise. Thank you!
