Masters Coaches
Have you wanted an opportunity to coach and develop rowers on beautiful Lake Washington? The Kenmore Community Rowing Club (KCRC) is located in Kenmore, WA at the north end of Lake Washington. We are seeking part time coaches for the 2024 rowing season and beyond. We row out of the new Kenmore Community Boathouse, located at Rhododendron Park, along the Sammamish River. We are community based, offering scholarships for youth and adult rowers in the area, and partnering closely with the Northshore School District.
About the Roles
We are seeking to grow our coaching staff to meet the needs of our masters, youth, and new rowing communities. We scull and sweep year-round, with some members focused on recreational rowing to improve fitness and others interested in competing in local regattas.
The ideal candidate/s have a passion for sharing rowing knowledge with the next generation and working to make rowing a more inclusive and accessible sport for all. They have a growth mindset and willingness to collaborate with other coaches, KCRC board, and members. They are open to sharing their ideas on how we may grow the club and are great communicators. KCRC anticipates offering the following Summer and Fall Coaching Positions with the goal of expanding programming as we fill out our coaching staff:
